Port Moresby Lodge No. 445 was consecrated on May 23, 1955. It is located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, and meets at the Port Moresby Masonic Centre. The lodge operates under the Grand Lodge of Queensland and is active with a presence in Port Moresby.
The lodge's history is tied to the broader history of Freemasonry in the region and the development of Port Moresby itself. The city was established after British Captain John Moresby explored the harbor in 1873. In the 1880s, the British made Port Moresby their headquarters on New Guinea, and it later became the capital of Papua, then the capital of the independent Papua New Guinea.
The Port Moresby Masonic Centre is the location where the lodge holds its meetings on the first Saturday of each month, except January. Freemasonry in Port Moresby, including this lodge, continues to be an active part of the community.
